The Narrative Nest is a free, two-day screenwriting retreat for emerging screenwriters to develop their short film scripts with professional story editors.

This community initiative was created by filmmaker, Allana Miller with the purpose of breaking down financial barriers in the film industry while strengthening community and fostering connection.

All participants will experience a quiet sanctuary to write, receive one-on-one mentorship and delve into creative connection exercises while being nourished with breakfast/lunch/snacks. Additionally, festival passes to a local film festival will be provided.

If you’re ready to get your next short film script completed — this retreat is the place for you!

The Narrative Nest is funded by Latincouver's Social Impact Grant & Visionary Productions with in-kind sponsor GEMSVancouver. .
